He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gerdes and Jane Gerdes of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.; and his siblings, Dale and Gail Gerdes Hagen. He is survived by: his brother Brad (Cathy); his brother-in-law Kim Hagen; his sibling's children, Travis Gerdes, Scott Hagen (Christina), Trever Hagen, Caitlin and Kelsey Gerdes; his great-nephews, Carson and Leo; and his great-niece Iris.
