She was predeceased by: her mother Ursula Rocque Harris; and her sister Patricia Harris Wolfe. She is survived by: her sons, James Braxton Craven IV (Jamie) and William Kistler Craven (Will-Cobina Grieco); her husband Jim; her son Joe; her daughters-in-law, Lindsay Webb Craven and Cobrina Grieco; and her grandchildren, Olivia Hope Craven (Joseph Harris Craven Jr.) and Buddy.

DILR became OLLI thanks to a $2 million grant from the Osher Foundation, and grew sevenfold under Sara's leadership.
