She was predeceased by: her mother Susan Nelson (Leonard). She is survived by: her father Paul Nelson (Susan); her daughters, Naiya Hastings and Jaeda Hastings; her brothers, Jeremy Nelson (Kristi) of Colfax and Aaron Nelson (Audra) of Fall Creek; her nieces and nephews, Ella, Reagan, Avrie and Ashton Nelson; and her pets, Hazel and Poppy. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, all memorials will help further Naiya and Jaeda's education.
