She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hauge and Gertrude Hauge (Lowe); her grandparents, Shortly and Boston; her husband Peter; and her brothers, David, John and James Hauge (London).
She is survived by: her family Marilyn; her friend Guernsey Breeders of Wisconsin; her children, Peter Speerstra III (Sherri), Robert Speerstra (Kay), Beth Cronin (James), John "Jack" Speerstra (Mary) and Jean Speerstra; her grandchildren, Matthew Speerstra, Larissa Larstra (Justin), Craig Speerstra, Ryan Cronin, Mandy Tjoflat (Paul), Samuel Speerstra (Andrea Mattison) and Mary Pat Sass (Josh); and her siblings-in-law, Louise Hauge and John Speerstra. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
