We announce the death of Mavis Charrolet Olson of Whitehall, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Mavis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Jacobson and Inga Jacobson (Skumlien); her husband Lyle A. Olson; her children, Lauren Olson and LuEllen Carpenter; her sons-in-law, Curtis Beck and Orlin Fremstad; her siblings, Ethel Moen and James Jacobson; and her grandson Tim Beck.
She is survived by: her children, Charrolet Beck of Blair, Eileen Fremstad of Osseo, Kathleen Kimble of Blair, Dale Olson of Whitehall and Arlene Frerks (Dick) of Lake Charles, LA; and her brother Ardel Jacobson of Blair. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
