He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Riesenberg and Aldine Riesenberg (Foley); his brothers, Bill, John and Rick; his stepson Todd Hughes; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Cydney Hughes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michelle Engelby of Madelia, Pam Kietzer (Jim) of Vernon Center, Gary and Kevin of Minneapolis, Minnesota.; his stepsons, Nick Hughes (Jill) of Wauwatosa and Curt Hughes (Christine) of Stewartville, Minnesota; his stepgrandchildren, Ethan Hughes (Alison), Lauren Hughes, Caitlyn DeCook (Lucas) and Cayden Hughes; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Daisy DeCook and Sierra DeCook. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
