He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick W. Triebold and Mildred Triebold; his wife Marge; and his siblings, Dorothy Gray (Joe), Aileen Niemann (Hubert), Shirley Lohmeier (Gordon), Frederic "Fritz" Triebold (Jeanne), Richard "Dick" Triebold (Judy) and David Triebold (Laura).

He is survived by: his sons, Eric (Lynne), Mark (Carrie) and Kurt (Julia); his grandchildren, Ryan (Theresa), Sarah (Morgan), Taylor (Jackie), Emily (Nathan), Madelaine, Hayden and Payton; his stepgrandchildren, Makiah, Helene and Connor; his great grandchild Oliani (Ani); and his brother Triebold Implement.

Memorials in Don's name to First United Methodist Church of Whitewater or the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated by the family.
