He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett McManaway and Inez McManaway of Wheeling; his wife Betty Guge; and his siblings, Ruth LeVine, Sid, Wade, Fay McKinney Walker, Bill and Norman.

He is survived by : his brother Martin McManaway; his sons, Wally (Gina) and Gordy (Omlay); and his grandchildren, Erin and Thomas.
