We announce the death of Kathleen Lynn Ponyicsanyi (Whitewater, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 81. Kathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Hornby and Hilma Hornby. She is survived by: her siblings, Jim and Cathy; her husband Tom; her friend Bonnie; her cousin Nancy; her daughters, Debby Geary (Shawn) and Betsy Stangel (Rob); her grandchildren, Raechel Waletich (Nicholas), Kimberly Geary, Cullen Stangel (Nicole) and Benjamin Stangel (Ellie); and her great grandchildren, William and Jack.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Aurora Zilber Family Hospice or First English Lutheran Church in her memory.
