He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Fields and Ruth Fields (Thomas); his wife Lois Fields; his sister Ruth "Natalie" Doman; and his grandson PJ Rodriguez.
He is survived by : his children, Tom Muril Fields of Whitewater, Dixie Manriquez of Elkhorn, Rosemary Montez (Juan Avila) of Janesville and Tina Bartel of Janesville; and his grandchildren, Paul Manriquez, Tyrone Fields, Jason Bartle, Wesley Bartle and Rachel Rodriguez. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice Visiting Angels nurses.
