He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Boyer and Dorothy Boyer (Heckman); his wife Marie Boyer (Bernardin); and his brother Donald "Donnie" Boyer. He is survived by: his children, Angela Hawkins (John) and Joshua Boyer; and his sister Judy Cooper (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including grandchildren and one great-grand niece.
