He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. McCann and June E. McCann (Schumacher); and his siblings, Judy Howard, Bob McCann and Jerry McCann.

He is survived by: his wife Carla J. Rubitsky; his daughter Kelly McCann; his grandson Rakeem Vann; his great grandchild Malcolm Vann; and his siblings, Dennis McCann (Kathy), Stevie McCann (Shelly) and Patti Igo. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Wayne was employed as a concrete foreman with Fry Foundation in Milton, retiring after 45 years.
