He was predeceased by: his parents, Georg Schmidt and Anna Schmidt; and his brother Frank Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Ardyth Holck; his children, Steven Schmidt (Laurie Gustke), Sharon Arnold (Bruce) and David Schmidt (Tricia); his grandchildren, Samantha Schmidt, Bradly Arnold (Emily), Nik Schmidt (Dominica), Amanda Seston (Brady), Anthony Schmidt, Kyle Schmidt and Tyler Schmidt; and his great grandchildren, Tallulah Schmidt, Mary Jane Schmidt, Landon Seston, Elisabeth Arnold and Theodore Arnold.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. J. Holly & Sons (630 County Road CR-GH, Wild Rose, WI 54984). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
