He is survived by: his son Tanner Deist (Sarah Hamilton); his siblings, Tom Deist (Carla), Tim Deist (Dawn) and Laurie Steffens (Dan); his father-in-law Guy Lepine; and his brother-in-law Shannon Lepine (Jamie).
