He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Counsell and Julia Counsell (Kimball). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hughes (Michael) and Craig Counsell (Michelle); his grandchildren, Brady, Jack, Finley, Hayden, Rowan and Devyn; his siblings, Mary Stump, Susie Sorenson, Ellen Swaine and Charlie Counsell; and his wife Jeanette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
