He is survived by: his sons, Scott Shirley (Patti) of Sarasota, FL and Todd Shirley of Neillsville; his son-in-law Paul Opelt (Katie) of Neillsville; his grandchildren, Jessica Fitzl (Kent), Marcus Shirley (Michelle), Marissa Scheffler (Jason), Emily Fricano (Nino), Marshall Opelt (Madelyn), Natalie Fischer (Trevor), Carson Opelt (Ava) and Kaleb Walsh; his great grandchildren, Delayni, Drew, Draelynn, Mason, Stella, Charlotte, Blakely, Rosalie, Hahns and Fletcher; and his siblings, Sheri Shirley, Kitty Maisonet (Mace), Pat Cummings (Tom), Sue Elmhorst (Roy) and Margo Elmhorst (Fritz). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
