He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Miller and Bernice Miller; and his siblings, Betty, Joyce, Donna, Jerome, Harry, Dwayne and Barbara.

He is survived by : his children, Vikki Johnson, Joni Shea (Mike) and Jayme Miller (BJ Hush); his grandchildren, Stephanie Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Chad Johnson, Michael Shea Jr., Ryan Shea and Barbara Shea; and his sisters, Patricia Miller, Yvonne Kraft and Susie Miller. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, or the Alzheimer's Association.
