He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Owens (Leuthold); his wife Angela Zimmerman; his children, Alexandra Owens and Mitchell Owens; his brothers, Dave Owens (Lori), Scott Owens (Jennie) and Timothy Owens (Katie); his siblings-in-law, Steve Zimmerman (Stephanie), Jon Zimmerman, Jared Zimmerman (Heather) and Amanda Ransom (Ken); and his parents-in-law, Bev Severson (Bill) and Ben Zimmerman (Sonja). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
