He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schwenk and Elda Schwenk (Kujath); his siblings, Charles Schwenk, Robert Schwenk and Shirley Schwenk; and his in-laws, Duane and Tootie McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia (McDonald); his son Chad Schwenk (Amy); his granddaughters, Christina Frake (Kyle) and Stephanie Salzmann (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Connell, Eloise, Kieran, Everly and Emerson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (401 Femrite Dr, Monona, WI 53716). The military honors will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:46 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
