John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Zitzner and Helen Zitzner (Hagen) of Viroqua, WI; and his sister Joyce Funk of Viroqua, WI.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson of Winchester, WI; his daughter Starlene Harris (Clint) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Jason Harris (Traci) and Jessica Bradshaw (Dustin); his great grandchildren, JD Harris, Griffin Bradshaw, Collins and Carter Bradshaw of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and his sister Jeanne Nelson of Viroqua, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home (904 E Main St, Winneconne, WI 54986). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be given to the American Heart Association.
