William Oura Benedict Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, at the age of 88, William Oura Benedict Sr. (Winneconne, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyrus Benedict and Pearl Benedict (Huntington); his parents-in-law, Luke (Vicki) and Nellie Schneider (Nisler); his brothers, Delos (Arlene) and Bob (Gloria); his parents-in-law, Roger Braasch and Arlene Benedict; and his grandson Nathaniel Herbst.

He is survived by : his wife Diane; his children, Bill Jr., Tom (Doreen), Jim and Megan (Aaron Brown); his grandson Jeff Herbst (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew, Gracie, Isabella and Jeffrey; his siblings, Dan and Marion Braasch (Schneider); and his parents-in-law, John (Diane), Sue, Joe, Steve (Nance), Ron (Sue), Paul, Tom (Sharon Halbach), Bob and Mary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a memorial in Bill's name to be donated to the Old Glory Honor Flight.
