He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lysal and Arvilla Van Lysal (Peterson); his wife Nancy Van Lysal; his daughter-in-law Felicia Van Lysal; his sister Patricia Miller; and his brother-in-law Joseph Nalbach.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Van Lysal, Liz Gross (Aaron) and Erik Van Lysal (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Brody, Myles, Maverick, Lucy, Sullivan, Beau, Emmanuel and Izaiah Van Lysal; his siblings, Gary Van Lysal (Candace) and Sharon Nalbach; and his brother-in-law Lyle Miller.
