With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delwin Sweeney of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, born in Rudolph, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delwin Sweeney to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Sweeney and Dora Sweeney (Reimer); his brother Verland Sweeney; and his in-laws, Einar and Myra Pederson.

He is survived by : his wife Maricia; his sons, Barry Sweeney (Cheri) of Appleton, WI, Mark Sweeney (Julie) of Port Edwards, WI and Steven Sweeney (Holly) of Elk Mound, WI; and his grandchildren, Evan, Brett, Troy, Henry, Samuel, Sadie and Sarah.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First English Lutheran Church (440 Garfield St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
