It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Altmann (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Auburndale, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Altmann and Apollonia Altmann; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Lucille Weiler; his sisters, Anne Marie Warmka and Helen Helminiak (Art); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Jacunski and Therese Ubrig.

He is survived by : his niece Casey Weiler; his nephew Randy Brock; his wife Lois Weiler; his children, Tom Altmann (Colette), Tamela Meyers (Jeff) and Tonja Fritsche (Todd); his grandchildren, Mitchell Altmann (Ryleigh), Morgan Altmann, Matthew Altmann, Sarah Meyers, Colin Meyers, Skylar Fritsche, Nolan Fritsche and Adalia Fritsche; his siblings, Dale Altmann (Donna), LeRoy Altmann (Leiann), Clifford Altmann (Janice), Larry Altmann (Gwen) and Rhonda Richardson (Terry); and his aunts, Barbara Ashbeck and Dolores Hoffman. He is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Assumption Catholic Schools, Our Lady Queen of Heaven Parish or Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund, in Ed's honor.
