She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Hoogesteger and Antoinette Hoogesteger (Balkenende); her husband William Stake; her children, David Stake and Dianne Spranger; her grandson Patrick Stoddard; and her siblings, Lorraine Vanderhei (Donald) of Lorraine's Draperies, Cornelius Hoogesteger (Joanne), James Hoogesteger and Donald Hoogesteger.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Stake of Wisconsin Rapids, Sally Stake of Wisconsin Rapids and Sharon Stake of Wausau; her grandchildren, Shannon Spranger (Julianna) of Lodi, Amanda Spranger of Janesville, Angela Walker of Glendale, William Ferkey of Caledonia and Chloe Stoddard of Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Nolan Walker, Raegan Walker and Josie Spranger; and her sisters-in-law, LaVonne Hoogesteger and Joy Hoogesteger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
