He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Gamma and Arvilla Gamma (Whitrock); his granddaughter Sarah Appel; his sister Laurel Gamma; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Gotz and Carl Mortimer.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Steinke; his stepchildren, Larry Steinke, Cheryl Stensberg (Chris), Robin Dederich (Dennis) and David Steinke (Denise); his grandchildren, Laura Loveless (Gage), Michelle Jacobson (Robert), Melissa Epperech (John), Daniel Steinke (Samantha) and Krysta Fiegel; and his sisters, Leann Gotz, Karen Mortimer and Marilyn Augustyniak (Peter). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
