He is survived by: his wife Leone Ann Smith; his children, Larry Smith, Eric Smith (Heidi) of Wisconsin Rapids, Linda Arterburn (Todd) of Maryland, Karen Achtemeier (Steven) of Colorado and Brenda Schrank (Edward) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Spencer Smith (Kristyn), Sawyer Smith (Megan), Emily Smith, Travis Arterburn, Kirsten White (Hayden), Meredith Arterburn, Ashley Groberg (Hans), Christopher Smith (Shannon), Gavin Achtemeier, Riley Achtemeier, Jason Schrank (Elizabeth), McKenzie Schrank and Alec Schrank (Lauren); and his sisters, Eleanor Posch and Merilyn McLean of Minnesota.
