With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lyle E. Krause Sr. of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Irvin Krause and Irma Krause (Bartel); his wife Shirley Smith; his children, Jeff, Greg Krause and Sherri Kay Krause; his brother Arne Krause; and his grandson Lyle Krause III.

He is survived by : his children, Vicki Bronson (Jerry), Becky Krause (John Koran) and Lyle Krause Jr.; his grandchildren, Stephanie LaBarge (Allen), Olivia Fritz, Molly Fritz and Stevie Kay Krause; his great grandchildren, Holden, Theo, Tony, Charlie and Esziah; and his brother Philip Krause (Peggy).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ritchay Funeral Home (1950 12th St S, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
