It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bennett (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Necedah, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bennett and Millie Bennett; his siblings, Harley Bennett and Barbara; and his brother-in-law Ronald Downing.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Bennett; his children, Nancy Winterburg (Noel) and Alan Bennett (Sarah); his sister-in-law Ruth Bennett; his grandchildren, Erin Christensen, Patrick Murphy, Cambria Ryckman and Devri Bennett; his great grandchild Caroline Christensen; and his friends, Terry, Judy Taft and Nancy Gear. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
