He is survived by: his children, Michael Young and Staci Christianson (David); his grandchildren, Hanna Weidman (Brady), Graci Christianson and Dekotah Aron (Bobbie Jo); and his great grandchildren, Oaklyn, Jacklyn, Nora, Harper and Presley.
His dedication to the organization and its mission was recognized when he received the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship Award, the highest honor presented by the Lions Clubs International Foundation.
