She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Mortimer and Gladys Mortimer; her husband Howard Young; her siblings, Ezra Frye, Neva Shore, Dawnene Lilley and Valette "Betty" Frye; and her siblings-in-law, Don Shore, Warren "Bud" Lilley and Phyllis Frye.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marian Smith (Scott) of Plover and Nancy Petruska (Darrin) of Stevens Point; her sister Nancy Mortimer of Wisconsin Rapids; her grandchildren, Emily (Sean), Jacob Brown of Washington State, Joshua Miner, Bailey Drollinger (Perry) of Wisconsin Rapids and Hannah Rausenberger (Nicholas) of Mondovi; and her great grandchildren, Kimber, Kashton, Cameron and Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
For those wishing to honor her memory, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to the South Wood County Humane Society in recognition of Sandy's immense love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Maggie.
