He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Race Sr. and Geraldine Race. He is survived by: his wife Linda Race; his children, Edward Race III (Selena) and Samantha Kropidlowski (Kevin); his brother Dale Race (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Carol Race, Karen Kass and Wayne Wanta (Sherry); his granddaughter Ava Kropidlowski; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney Hansen, Kaitlynn Broekemeier (Ty) and Zach Hansen (Michelle); his brother Warren Race; his parents-in-law, Anton and Josephine Wanta; and his brother-in-law Hilary Wanta. He is also survived by five step-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home (401 W College Ave, Wittenberg, WI 54499). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
