He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Durkee; his daughter Jolita Durkee; and his sister Sharon Burch. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Durkee (Worthington); his wife Vicky; his daughters, Liberty Belter (Jason) and Tiffany Schulte (Jason); his grandchildren, Grier, Allison, Zaon and Ella; and his siblings, Shirley Strait, Conrad Durkee and Gregory Durkee (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
