She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schweitzer and Laura Schweitzer; her husband James "Jim" Schallock; her daughter Danean Girtler; and her siblings, Rose Siskoy and Harry "Sonny" Schweitzer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Schallock and Theresa Williams (Ervin); her grandchildren, Jacqueline Koppa (David), Jonathan Williams and Tucker Schallock; her great grandchildren, Finley, Olivia and Liam Koppa; and her siblings, Laverne "Sissy" Knipple, Jeanette Blawat and Diane Schweitzer.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Joanie's honor can be made to Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff, WI.
