He was predeceased by: his father Robert Karner; his wife Jane; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Karner (Beyer); his children, Sarah Applebey (Eric) and Tyler Karner (Lindsay); his grandson Miles Karner; and his siblings, Donna Brantmeier (Bob), Steve Karner (Susan), Larry Karner (Sue), Lenny Karner (Kimberly) and Jerry Karner.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
