He was predeceased by : his parents, Marshall A. Kitterman and Violet Ann Kitterman (Lasley); and his brother Keith Kitterman. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Kitterman; his children, Michael Kitterman (Lisa), Kim Murphy (Jim) and Pam Dennison (Matt); his stepchildren, Angie Krueger (Jim) and Adam Hillestad; and his brother Marshall Kitterman. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
