Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George David Kennedy of Alderson, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 82, on May 28, 2025. Though George David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phillip and Lucy May Craft Kennedy; and his former wife Barbara Fox Van Buren. He is survived by: his son David Lee Kennedy (Amy Kennedy) of Sinks Grove.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lobban Funeral Home (205 S Monroe St, Alderson, WV 24910). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
