He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Jean McFarland and George Preston Ambler; and his brother Jeff Ambler. He is survived by: his children, Michael Patrick Ambler of Rupert, Christopher Douglas Ambler of Rupert and Phylicia Gay Ambler of Rupert; his siblings, George "Boogie" Ambler, Jr. (Vicky) of Fort Spring, Tim Ambler (Marilyn) of Hubert, NC and Jeanie Serreno of Roanoke, VA; his uncle Donald Trout of Alderson; his niece Cindy Morgan (Bryan) of Ronceverte; his nephews, Chad Ambler of Fort Spring and Nathan Serreno (Taylor) of Hardy, VA; his significant other Lisa Stanley; and his children, Kandice Stanley of Alderson and Penny Stanley of Virginia Beach, VA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations in honor of Mike be sent to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24910.
