It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Brooks (Alderson, West Virginia), who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Arby and Rowena Elizabeth Brooks (Burns); and his siblings, Dorothy Wiseman (Roger) of Callahan and Clarence Brooks (Christine) of Monroe County. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Alderson; his children, Christy Harless (Chris) of Dawson, Matt Brooks (Patricia) of Maxwelton, Angie Gwinn (Daniel) of Rupert, Willard Harper (Connie) and Mark Harper (Shannon) of Rupert; his sisters, Nancy Walker of Shady Springs and Liz Compton of Bradley; his grandchildren, Katlin Gilkeson (Shaq), Cameron Farley (Tracy), Brianna Hayden (Conner), Lane Seldomridge (Mahayla), Logan Seldomridge (Madison), Amber Poojari, Kateland and Marissa Harper; and also Randolph Brooks (Fran) of Burton. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the River of Life Church of God (503 Highland Trail, Alderson, WV 24910). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
