He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Edward Fitzwater and Ruby Ellen Cutlip Fitzwater; his wife Sharon Lowery Fitzwater; and his brothers, Karl Edward Fitzwater and James Lee Willis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Henry "Bo" Fitzwater (Jenny) of Victoria, Theodora Hicks of Renick and Bobbie Jo Fitzwater of Alderson. He is also survived by several loving aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lobban Funeral Home (205 S Monroe St, Alderson, WV 24910). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
