She was predeceased by: her parents, Maywood Turley and Lena Griffith Turley; her husband Julian "Red" Shaffer; and her siblings, Wiladean Smith, Doris Harless, Gatha Estep and Denzil Turley.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Summers (Aric) and Kevin Shaffer; her grandchildren, Leslee Shaffer and Lynsey Hargraves (Joe); her great grandchildren, Dylan Hargraves and Reed Hargraves; and her caregiver Amanda Braley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
