With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Gean Arthur of Alum Creek, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gloria shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gloria farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Arthur; her children, Melanie Snodgrass (Scott) and Spencer Arthur (Chasity); her grandchildren, Dylan Snodgrass, Chase Arthur and Brittany Whitten; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Maddox, Kennedi and Colt. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
