It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Carl Schellhaas of Amherstdale, West Virginia, born in West Jefferson, Ohio, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Schellhaas and Edith Schellhaas (Morgan); his daughter Bonnie Schellhaas (Gilland); his wife April Schellhaas (Ayers); and his siblings, Dorothy Richeson, Jim Schellhaas and Janet Anderson.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kimberly "Kim" Oliver (Tim) of Virginia Beach, VA and Kelly Hernandez-Laws (Bobby) of Amherstdale; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Shelby, Hannah and Matthew; his stepgrandchildren, Brittney and Bobby Joe; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Colby, Brantley and Ezra; and his sisters, Dianne Bradford of Galloway, OH and Sandy Fry (Bobby) of Galloway, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
