He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lou Wilson Colwell; his children, Geraldine Blair, Smithburg of Sheldon Colwell, MD and Melanie Woodword (Jeffrey Payne); his grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Frederiqe Payne and Brittany Hackler; and his brother Ernie Colwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
