She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Guy and Lessie Marie Day Childers; her granddaughter Locia Nicole Wiant; and her siblings, Flossie B Cogis and Charles F Childers.
She is survived by: her husband Carl "Chuck" Edward Smith; her children, Roger Everett (Connie), Don Everett, David Everett, Joann Everett (Brian Boley) and Rebecca Shortman (Jeff); and her sister Ruth "Jean" Carder. She is also survived by twenty six grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
