With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Virginia Gieseke (Ansted, West Virginia), who passed away on February 11, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Geraldine Dashiell and Levin Stanley Dashiell; her husband Jerry Gieseke; her daughter Kristin Ann Allen; her son-in-law Shawn Allen; her granddaughter Taylor Dashiell Allen; her sister Charlotte Ethel Baldwin; her nephews, Chuck Baldwin (Kim), Matt Baldwin, Charlie, Simon, Gavin and Spencer; and her niece Susan Baldwin (Chuck Baldwin).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia, honoring her lifelong commitment to education, children, and care for families in need.
