We are sad to announce that, on February 22, 2026, at the age of 86, Carol Thompson (Ansted, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estle Sebert and Neta Sebert; her husband Woodrow Thompson; her siblings, Charles Sebert, Kathleen Hypes, Sybil Kidder and Douglas Sebert; her daughter Donna Cook; and her grandsons, Larry Thompson, Cole Thompson and Damon Mooney.
She is survived by: her brother Elza (Faye Sebert); and her children, Robert Thompson, James (Delores Thompson), Jerry (Merrideth Thompson), Glenn (Andrea Thompson), Linda (Jim Snow), Elizabeth Hubbard and Kimberly Hike (Dianna Thompson).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made, in honor of her life, to Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.
