Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Morris Skeens and Ethel Dunn; his wife Joyce Skeens; and his siblings, Nancy Machia and Joseph Skeens.
He is survived by: his sons, Edwin Skeens Jr. (Judi French) and Joel Skeens (Lisa); his grandchildren, Julia Eveslage, Joseph Skeens and Joel Skeens Jr.; and his siblings, Janet Kay Hoover (Bill), Drema O'Brien (Ed), Curtis Ellison (Linda) and Terry Ellison (Donna). He is also survived by his grandsons, nieces and nephews, and neighborhood children.
