He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sanford and Mable Marie Terry Showalter; and his siblings, Rebecca Showalter, William Showalter, Robert Showalter and James Showalter.
He is survived by: his grandson Wyatt Lanham; his wife Debbie Showalter; his daughter Susan Showalter; his caregiver Helen Wood; his siblings, Cathy Showalter and Gary Showalter (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Tessa Lanham, Lucas Showalter, Logan Naylor and Shawn Neal.
