He is survived by: his wife Yang Hee Butts (Chong); his daughter Ileta Chong Patton (Jeremy); his grandsons, Ezra of Honolulu, Hawaii. and Elijah of Honolulu, Hawaii.; his sisters, Beverly "Dee" Loomis (Wayne) of Moneta, Virginia and Tia Marshall (Peter) of Randleman; and his pet Oakey. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
